GR/EEN Goals
By establishing a world-class research hub for Green Hydrogen, GR/EEN will drive technological breakthroughs and foster the widespread adoption of a Green Hydrogen society, advancing the realization of our universityʼs vision.
Organization & Structure
University of Yamanashi|The Global Research Institute for Energy & Environmental Neutrality (GR/EEN) was established in 2025 to integrate research and educational resources related to Green Hydrogen and promote them strategically.
GR/EEN encompasses:
- Clean Energy Research Center (est.2001): Exploring the fundamental phenomena of the energy conversion
- Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Nanomaterials Center (est. 2008): Advancing research on next- generation materials for hydrogen and fuel cells.
- Zero Emission MIRAI Center (est. 2025): Aiming to build a carbon- neutral social system.
