The University of Yamanashi has been selected by Japanʼs Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) for the Program for Forming Japanʼs Peak Research Universities (J-PEAKS).
This project supports regional core universities and institutions with unique research strengths in building environments that enhance research capacity, accelerate international collaboration, and promote the social implementation (technology transfer) of research outcomes.
(In 2023 and 2024, 25 national, public and private universities across Japan were selected under the J-PEAKS program.)
